During his time at Makers, an online-game focused venture capital fund, John discovered the power of the retail investor community and actively participated in the GameStop (GME) investment saga through crowdsourced research. John’s investment in the company and the following success led him to found Wook Capital to further pursue his goal of creating a community where investing does not have to be a zero-sum game, but a collaborative pursuit of the truth.
John graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia University with a B.A. in Financial Economics.
